Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Morning: The safari begins with a pickup from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after breakfast.
En route: A drive of 5-6 hours to the Maasai Mara National Reserve will include a stopover in Narok town for local culture and craft, followed by a scenic stop at a Rift Valley viewpoint.
Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge for lunch. After check-in, embark on your first afternoon game drive, searching for the "Big Five" and other wildlife like gazelles, cheetahs, and elephants.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara
Morning: After breakfast, head out for a full day of game drives in the Maasai Mara. This is often the highlight for many visitors, with opportunities to witness the annual wildebeest migration (seasonally) and abundant predators.
Afternoon: Continue exploring the reserve. Some tours offer an optional visit to a Maasai village to experience their culture.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Morning: Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Maasai Mara and have breakfast.
Mid-day: Depart from the Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
Morning: After an early breakfast, begin your drive to Amboseli National Park. The route may include a brief game drive out of Lake Nakuru to maximize wildlife sightings.
Mid-day: The drive continues towards Amboseli, passing through Nairobi, with a stop for lunch en route.
Afternoon: Arrive at Amboseli, which is known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll have an afternoon game drive after checking into your lodge.
Evening: Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or tented camp in Amboseli.
Day 5: Full Day Amboseli
Morning: After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Amboseli National Park.
Afternoon: Continue to explore the park, which is home to large herds of elephants. An optional visit to a Maasai village is also available.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and your last night of the safari.
Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi
Morning: After breakfast and one last early morning game drive as you exit the park, begin your journey back to Nairobi.
Mid-day: A picnic lunch will be served en route to break up the drive.
Afternoon: Arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
