A 4-day safari from Nairobi to Tsavo East via the SGR train to Voi, followed by Tsavo West, and Amboseli, returning by SGR from Emali. Day 1 involves the SGR from Nairobi to Voi, followed by a game drive and transfer to your accommodation in Tsavo East. Day 2 is a game drive en route to Tsavo West, a park with varied landscapes. Day 3 is spent in Amboseli, known for its elephant herds and Kilimanjaro views. Day 4 includes a final morning game drive before an SGR transfer from Emali to Nairobi.
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East via SGR
Morning: Get picked up from your Nairobi hotel and transferred to the SGR station for the Madaraka Express train to Voi.
Afternoon: Arrive at Voi SGR station and be met by your safari guide. Check into your lodge in Tsavo East. Enjoy lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive until dusk.
Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Note: This day focuses on exploring the vast plains of Tsavo East, known for its red elephants.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West
Morning: Wake up for an early morning game drive. After the drive, have breakfast and check out of your lodge.
Late Morning: Drive to Tsavo West National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 3 hours.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, you will visit Mzima Springs, a unique water source within the park, and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, you'll go on a game drive until sunset.
Evening: Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Tsavo West.
Note: Tsavo West is known for its dramatic landscapes, volcanic history, and diverse wildlife.
Day 3: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
Morning: Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo West. After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your drive to Amboseli National Park.
Afternoon: Arrive in Amboseli National Park, a region famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge and check in.
Evening: Have dinner and spend the night at your lodge in Amboseli.
Day 4: Amboseli to Nairobi via Emali SGR
Morning: Wake up early for a final game drive in Amboseli. Have breakfast at the lodge and then check out.
Midday: After checking out, you will have a final lunch in Amboseli.
Afternoon: Transfer to the Emali SGR station to catch the return train to Nairobi.
Evening: Arrive at the Nairobi SGR station and be transferred to your hotel.
Note: This day involves a final morning game drive before you depart the park.
