Day 1: Diani/Mombasa to Taita Hills & Salt Lick Safari
6:00 AM - 6:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Diani or Mombasa by your private van.
6:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, with a possible brief stop en route.
10:00 AM - 1:30 PM: Begin your first game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, searching for wildlife.
1:30 PM: Arrive at Salt Lick Safari Lodge and check in for lunch.
2:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Relax at the lodge, enjoy the amenities, and possibly take some time to unwind.
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Embark on an afternoon/evening game drive to see more wildlife, such as lions, elephants, zebras, and ostriches.
6:30 PM onwards: Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for dinner. Many lodges have elevated viewing platforms, and the watering holes are often illuminated at night for wildlife viewing.
