Day 1: Diani to Saltlick Lodge and Taita Hills
6:00 a.m.: Your private safari guide picks you up from your hotel in Mombasa.
6:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.: Enjoy a scenic drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. The journey passes through the Kenyan countryside, with views of the Taita Hills on the horizon as you get closer to your destination.
11:00 a.m.: Arrive at the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary gate. Here, your safari guide will handle park entry fees and formalities.
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Begin your first game drive through the sanctuary.
1:00 p.m.: Head to the nearby Taita Hills Safari Resort and Spa for lunch.
2:00 p.m.: Check in and transfer to the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge. You will have some time to settle into your unique room, which is elevated on stilts and offers fantastic views of the floodlit waterhole below.
4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.: Embark on an evening game drive in the sanctuary.
6:00 p.m.: Return to Salt Lick Lodge.
7:30 p.m.: Enjoy a buffet dinner at the lodge restaurant.
Overnight: Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Saltlick Lodge to Ngutuni and Diani return
Early Morning: Wake up for an early morning game drive, potentially catching the sunrise.
